Let’s Get Social!

Everyone’s heard of “social media,” but figuring out exactly what it means and how to use it can be a little tricky—especially as it relates to business. Does having a Facebook page mean you’ve embraced social media? What’s social about Twitter? Do blogs play a part in this, too? And then there’s MySpace, YouTube, Flickr, and a host of other sites. Where (and how) do you jump in?

  Simply put, social media is a broad term that covers a fairly sizable range of websites and online services, but the common denominator for all of these sites and services is the ability to interact with the website and with other visitors of the website.

  The main premise of social media marketing is that a company’s marketing message, if packaged in exceptionally good, outrageous, or unique content, and in the form of video, text, audio, or widgets, can be virally distributed throughout the social web (i.e., the sites mentioned above) to invite people to interact with and to share that message with other people.

Whether you need to change content, images, or links or report bugs or technical issues with your site, you can quickly and easily request assistance through our Help Desk in the admin area of your website or at www.beyondindigohelp.com.

  Take a moment to look in your admin area or go directly to our Help Desk site. If you haven’t already registered, please do so by creating a unique username and password specifically for the Help Desk. Once you’re registered, you can log in and submit a detailed ticket, and most minor changes are completed within three business days. Please be sure to include an email or phone number so we may contact you with any questions.
